She is super skilled at even the most difficult hair styles and challenges! She has helped me through hair loss and Chemo hair! She helped me look great and feel positive with all sorts of lengths and styles. She also knows a lot about different treatments. I have been very happy with what she has helped me do with my not-so-easy hair! She is very skilled and patient at teaching styling techniques, which I have found to be a rare skill w stylists. She is also very respectful with my wishes on how and when she uses products, which again, I have found rare w most stylists. Her kindness and creativity are unsurpassed. She’s a rare and lovely gem!!

Opal is simply the best hairstylist I've had in years and I have lived in New York, Boston and Chicago. She worked for many years at a prestigious downtown salon and ran their training programs. Opal takes my flat, stick-straight hair and gives it volume and movement!! After a cut with her, I feel the need to toss my hair like a shampoo commercial model. She is a perfectionist: because I hate it when my collarbone-length hair flips out where it hits my shoulders, Opal takes a subtle triangle-shaped snippet around my shoulders such that it doesn't flip out. No hair stylist has ever taught me so much about controlling my own hair: she taught me how to blow-dry my hair in under 10 minutes while still controlling the weird flip-out situation. She even taught me how to tease my hair while not looking like a Texas beauty queen. Lastly, she is a delightful person to talk to and remembers everything about your life. Getting a haircut is like catching up with a good friend (who gives really awesome scalp massages).

It's ALL ABOUT Opal! If you are blonde, you know that finding the right colorist is so difficult and maintaining your look is an art. I have lived in many big cities and paid the really big prices to keep my hair at every stage of blonde, but I have never had an experience or outcome like the one I had with Opal. Not only is the color perfection (and with platinum this is near to impossible), but the service was amazing. From scalp massage, to one on one personal attention with NO ASSISTANTS (thank god) this girl has a real natural gift for service and color. She spent the whole time with me, looked over photos to make sure of the look, talked about how we would move forward in maintenance, and then I had a blast spending the afternoon just talking...she is a real girl's girl who knows how to bang out some blonde!

I've been on the hunt for a stylist ever since moving to Seattle three years ago. I went in knowing kind of what I wanted (a cut and color of some sort) but was really looking for advice and someone to do some magic on my tired long hair. Opal was incredible, in fact all the folks I interacted with were amazing. I told her I wanted a bold new look. She cut about a foot off and styled it perfectly with caramel highlights. I've been wearing my new do for a week and love it! I am so happy that I've finally found my hair salon and stylist, not to mention a whole new look!

I had my hair done by Opal today, and she is so amazing! I followed her from Ola Salon in West Seattle. I brought in a few pictures of a blonde balayage I loved, and she did such a great job, I couldn't be happier! I couldn't recommend her enough!

Opal is a phenomenal woman to work with and learn from. Be prepared to be blown away by her endless skills with everything she touches. It's completely sorcery! There is nothing she can't do and very little she won't do. The perfection in her work and how she treats everyone around her is insurmountable. Slayed AF.
